Husnu Al Suood Challenge to Allah

“I will note one thing I learned in the past two weeks: religious scholars are going around to midwives giving fatwas that girls have to be circumcised. They’re giving fatwas saying it is religiously compulsory. According to my information, the circumcising of girls has started and is going on with a new spirit.”

He added it had to be stopped and “cannot be tolerated.”

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

It is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a midwife: "Reduce the size of the clitoris but do not exceed the limit, for that is better for her health and is preferred by husbands".

The hadith indicates that circumcision is better for a woman's health and it enhances her conjugal relation with her husband.

It’s noteworthy that the Prophet's saying "do not exceed the limit" means do not totally remove the clitoris.

If Husnoo Suood think that he can plan against Allah he has forgotten that more "intelligent and powerful" people did plan against Islam and the Prophet but ultimately Allah and His religion and His Prophet prevailed...and will continue to prevail.
